Recently, the "MV Kexuan," the Yangtze River"s first oil-electric hybrid luxury cruise ship equipped with Weichai 8WH20 marine generator sets, made its maiden voyage in Chongqing, providing a new green model for the "Electrified Yangtze" strategy and offering both domestic and international tourists a wonderful new experience for leisure and wellness cruises on the Yangtze.

  With a gross tonnage of 17,000 tons, a length of 149.99 meters, and a width of 22 meters, the "MV Kexuan" is the first oil-electric hybrid luxury cruise ship on the Yangtze River, utilizing an oil-electric hybrid system that is more environmentally friendly, quieter, and more efficient. Meanwhile, the cruise ship deeply integrates Bashu cultural characteristics to create the first mobile "Garden on the River" on the Yangtze, building an elegant space for tourists to experience Sichuan and Chongqing culture.

  Four 1,500 kW Weichai 8WH20 marine generator sets provide efficient and reliable power for the cruise, fully meeting all electricity requirements for the ship"s operation and equipment.

  The product features high-pressure common rail and in-cylinder direct injection technology, paired with a Weichai proprietary ECU. Extremely high injection pressure and precise control significantly reduce fuel consumption, helping to manage shipping costs; Core components have undergone rigorous durability testing to ensure high reliability.

  Customer feedback indicates that Weichai products are fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly, quiet, comfortable, easy to operate and maintain, and supported by excellent after-sales service.

  Currently, several Yangtze cruise ships powered by Weichai, including the "Yangtze No. 3," "Century Jiangshan Rushige," and "Yangtze Yunfan," have entered operation, with more orders currently under construction.
