  Recently, Weichai achieved a significant milestone in this core field, with reports of success from both domestic and international markets: the first domestic 300-ton class mining truck engine has passed 18,000 hours of validation, and over 2,000 units are operating stably worldwide, marking Weichai’s bold strides onto the global stage.

  As the first Chinese 300-ton class mining truck engine to pass 18,000 hours of rigorous validation, the Weichai 12M55 is currently equipped in over 600 mining trucks globally, with its reliability, cost-efficiency, and advanced nature fully recognized by the international market.

  After years of dedicated efforts, Weichai has broken through technical barriers in the 300-ton class mining truck engine sector and successfully developed the high-performance 12M55 engine. Its core systems are fully developed in-house and under independent control: the proprietary ECU software allows for customized optimization on demand, the high-pressure common rail closed-loop control system enables precise fuel management, and the collaborative supply chain system remains independently controllable.

  Today, Weichai"s independently developed M33 and M55 series engines have established a power solution lineup for mining trucks across all tonnages from 100 to 400 tons, covering diverse fuel types and the full range of mining equipment. To date, the total number of Weichai"s large-scale mining power units in operation worldwide has exceeded 2,000, delivering high-quality "Chinese power solutions" to the global mining industry.
