The 12M55 is a new product based on the next-generation premium M55 platform, with a power output ranging from 2200-2700 kWm, compliant with Non-emission/EPA Tier II standards, and suitable for 2000-2500 kWe generator sets.

High reliability: Cylinder block and cylinder head are made of compacted graphite iron (CGI) for high strength; Design life of 32000 h
High fuel economy: Equipped with a high-pressure common rail (HPCR) system featuring injection pressures up to 2200 bar, it enables multiple-injection strategies for improved fuel atomization and reduced fuel consumption
Excellent serviceability: Full-series modular design ensures high parts commonality and convenient spare parts availability
